Turn Off Buzz

Till now every one was thinking that Google Buzz is a one way buy friends it is not. Buzz is two way. I saw a video which states "You Hate Buzz, but Google Runs the Internet " but the other side of coin is different.

Here the great "G" gives you an option to "turn off the Buzz". If you want to off Buzz than you have to scroll down the main Gmail page. there you are able to find the option "turn off buzz". Just click on that and close the Buzz Light.

Google has provide the another option to off the Buzz,go to "setting"  located at the top right-hand corner of the page. The company included a “Buzz” option to the main settings due to which you are able to hide as well as disable Buzz.

Do remember in case you disable Buzz, your Google Profile and Buzz posts will also be deleted and as a result you will be disconnected to any connected sites.

Tips about Google Buzz

Here are  few tips about Google Buzz to get you started:

• Formatting of an post can be done easily in Buzz. One can format text like *bold*,_italics_, etc.

• Buzz allow user to view the summary of your Buzz posts. One can look the complete summary at www.google.com/dashboard like how many people you are following, who all are your follower, information on recent post etc.

• Use an @reply to send a post directly to someone’s inbox. If you want to make sure one of your friends sees a certain Buzz post, you can direct it to their inbox with an @reply. Type the “@” symbol followed by the first few letters of their name, and select their email address from the list. Only you’ll see their Gmail address — other people will just see their name.

• Try keyboard shortcuts to fly through buzz. Turn on keyboard shortcuts from Settings, and use “j” or “n” to scroll down the buzz tab, “k” or “p” to go back up, “r” to comment (same shortcut as reply in Gmail), and “shift + l” to like.

• Mute this post-Comments on your posts and comments after your comments send buzz directly to your inbox. If you don’t want a lively conversation to keep appearing in your inbox as people reply to it, you can mute it. Click the arrow in the corner of a buzz post and select “Mute this post.

Google never allow any one to be in news for long time, So Google come up with its new product "Buzz" and now its time for Google Buzz.

Twitter was the most popular word for 2009 and i believe BUZZ will be for 2010. Google Buzz will be the new star of Social Media Foray.

Google Buzz is specially designed and created for Gmail Users where they can easily sharephoto, links and status update without visiting sites such as FaceBook or Twitter.

In present, Invitation is required for Gmail user to use Google Buzz but within a week time all Gmail user can use the Google Buzz. Google said it may open Buzz for outside users also in future but for now its for Gmail users only.

Google also launched special mobile phone apps for Buzz for Apple’s iPhone and for smartphones powered by its own Android operating system.

Social Media Analysts said the move by Google was designed primarily to head off FaceBook's advantages in the huge amount of user data or in other way we can say its going to be the FaceBook Killer.

Facebook boasts some 400 million users while Gmail had 176 million unique visitors in December, according to tracking firm comScore.

Yahoo! added a similar feature to its email program, Yahoo Mail, last year, allowing users to see whether friends have uploaded a photo to a photo-sharing site such as Flickr.
