Google’s contribution to International politics

We all knows the Google contribution in Technology and Internet world. Google among the top players in Information Technology arena and the number one player in Internet world but do you know Google is now giving Contribution to International Politics too.

“They see him here, they seem him there, the French seek him everywhere. Is he in heaven, is he in hell, the elsusive scarlett pimpernel.”

Recently you must hear about one of the state of India (Arunachal Pradesh)who become the eye of International politics and give a lot of Chit-Chat to new and old evaluators of Politics. Google gave an unforgettable contribution in the Chit –Chat and become the part of International Politics.

Google Maps site for users in China (http://ditu.google.cn), Arunachal Pradesh appears as part of China.

Google Maps site for users in India (http://maps.google.co.in), Arunachal appears in the way India sees it – as an integral part of India.

Google Maps for users in other parts of the world, the site (http://maps.google.com) shows Arunachal Pradesh as a “disputed region”, like Kashmir.

Arunachal Pradesh has been and will always be a part of India. Google clearly likes to keep everyone happy. But since they say this does not impact their depiction of international borders, would they also clarify which version they’re talking about?? Since they have so many!

Google should come clean about their policy on national boundaries. Currently they issue apologies in India, while still displaying maps with defective boundaries elsewhere. A good explanation would be better than this insincere apology.

Happy Blogging !

  3. It seems google want to be politically correct in the respective countries. This is ridiculous and indian government should make a big noise on this issue. This should be made clear to the global community that arunachal pradesh is an integral part of INDIA. and no discussions or disputes on this.
